Giving to Family Medicine
Family Medicine has two areas which you can support: research and their residency program.
- Family Medicine Research Fund
- Supports the research, training, and educational activities of the Department of Family Medicine
- Family Medicine Residency Fund
- Supports the educational activities the Family Medicine Residency Program.
How to Give
We rely on the generosity of our alumni, faculty, staff and friends of RowanSOM to help us enhance the Family Medicine program. Your gift can help the Family Medicine students, residents and physicians continue their efforts to treat the whole person, not just a specific condition.
The most common way to offer support is through donations in the form of:
- One-time gifts
- Annual gifts pledges
- Employer gift matches
Gifts of all types and sizes can make a difference. Below are some of the many ways you can give and have an impact at Family Medicine today!

Creating an endowed fund through Rowan University Foundation is one way you can leave a lasting legacy. It can be a very meaningful way in which to honor a family member or friend, support student scholarships, or establish an endowed program fund, which provides strategic opportunities for a variety of programmatic, faculty and research needs at the University. Examples include chairs or professorships, lectures, research funds, faculty development, research or other academic initiatives.
Employer Gift Match
You can double or even triple the impact of your gift if you or your spouse's employer participates in a Corporate Matching Gifts program. Simply speak with your human resources or personnel office about obtaining a gift match form and include the completed form with your contribution.
